Dear all,
Tomorrow, my journey to the United Kingdom begins. I will leave by aeroplane (I just love British English) from Amsterdam at 9:45 in the morning. Although I will be flying on 9/11, I do not foresee any troubles and I hope to land safely on Britain ground at 10:00. Indeed, it is always one hour earlier in Bradford, so I can never sleep late. Or can I? After I traditionally kissed the ground, I will be looking out for the volunteers with University of Bradford Welcome Week Hoodies and T-shirts on. These lovely people promised me to pick me up at Leeds Bradford International Airport and drop me off at the University Halls, where I will be staying the next five months. Hopefully, my room is as lovely as the one I leave behind in Tilburg (photograph). Or at least it should be, since I pay almost 1200 pounds, which is eh…eh… many euros! Can someone please tell me the exact amount?
Before I forget, I would like to thank everyone for the nice wishes, great advice, and emotional goodbyes. Last week, Marleen threw me a great surprise party and in the weekend, I waved farewell to my family. This week was full of activities organised by Asset | Econometrics and I enjoyed every second of my last hours in Tilburg. In the past two days, I packed my bags and made the final arrangements. I guarantee, if you can only take a few of your favourite outfits with you, you definitely want to wear them all for a few seconds to be sure you only take the best clothes with you. Even I do.

That’s about it for now. All I have left to say is: Miss You!

Hey Frans,
nice to hear that you arrived safely ^^
Your room was about 1457.26 euro's but look at it from the bright side, it will probably look a lot better then your room here around the time of your return ;-)
I'm looking forward to your next update,
goodbye and have fun!
